Your Turn

Now it’s your turn to get out there and experiment with shutter speed.  Before shooting, be sure the camera is set to the proper settings.

• Tv Mode
• Auto ISO
• Auto White Balance
• RAW Format

As you take the shots, move the dial back and forth to change the shutter speed.  The camera will adjust the other settings allowing you to focus on the shutter speed and how you can be creative with it. Challenge yourself to try these different creative effects:

1. Freeze Motion
2. Track Motion
3. Create a Ghost

When done, import your shots into Adobe Lightroom and work with the Develop Module to edit your images.
